Lions Gate Sinfonia plays Mozart – Centennial Theatre

Lions Gate Sinfonia performs the music of Mozart and Beethoven in a “Side-by-Side” concert combining professional players with young protégés from the newly formed Lions Gate Youth Orchestra. Together, the combined orchestra will perform works by various members of the Mozart family, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 14, which he wrote at the age of fourteen.

Rising star Carol Zhang will perform a movement of Chopin’s First Piano Concerto, and acclaimed soloist Sasha Starcevich will join the orchestra to conclude the program with Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2.
