Capilano Mall and the Queens Cross Pub Throw an Outdoor Summer Party
A Fundraiser for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society
North Vancouver, BC – Capilano Mall and the Queens Cross Pub have come together to help raise funds for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank as a part of the Bentall Kennedy Fare Fight for Food Initiative.
The Outdoor Summer Party will be held on Saturday, July 21st from 1pm -6pm at the Queens Cross Pub in the parking lot.
Tickets can be purchase for $20 in advance from the Queens Cross or at the door for $25. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and tickets include a beer and a burger.
Attendees must be 19 years or older to attend.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or a monetary donation for the Food Bank.
“This is the most difficult time of year for the Food Bank in terms of receiving both food and monetary donations from the community,” says Shera Allibhai, Marketing Director – Capilano Mall. “Our goal is to raise $6000 for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society through ticket sales and donations on the day of the event.”
The event will feature live music, a licensed beer garden, delicious bbq, and much more. Members of the community are encouraged to come out, enjoy the sunshine, and help fight hunger in our community.
