WARNING: SEXUAL CONTENT AND NUDITY

NeverYouMind Productions (Lauren A. Campbell, Flora Karas and Lisa-Marie Marrelli) catapult themselves onto the Presentation House Theatre stage with Canadian playwright, Janet Feindel’s A Particular Class of Women.

Inspired by a celebrated 1985 Ontario court case where a judge minimized a crime against a stripper, pointing out that the victim ‘was from a particular class of women whose profession it is to promote lust’, this passionate cast of eight women will lure you into their dressing rooms at ‘The Cabaret Circus’ to share their intimate, touching, hilarious and eye-opening lives.

A Particular Class of Women deconstructs the often-‐held stereotypes of strippers and celebrates the choices we have in our lives and the freedoms we often take for granted. Honest, sexy, brave and sometimes crass; these ladies will take you on a journey of laughter and truth into the world of strip clubs in the 1980′s.
