The Lower Lonsdale Business Association presents North Vancouver’s 5th Annual Party-at-the-Pier Family Festival, Celebrating Our Maritime Community, at The Shipyards located at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue on Saturday & Sunday, July 16 & 17, 2011.
Voted one of the best musical festivals on the North Shore this year’s event will be even bigger and better offering family-friendly entertainment and activities throughout the weekend. The festival takes place rain or shine!
The Festival kicks off with a free concert on Saturday, July 16 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm – The North Shore’s very own Lions Gate Sinfonia and the North Shore Celtic Ensemble will merge Classical and Celtic styles into an exciting crossover program – Bending the Lines. Conducted by Maestro Clyde Mitchell.
Raffle tickets will be sold during the performance for a draw for 2 tickets anywhere within North America that Air Canada flies, including Mexico, Hawaii & the Caribbean.
On July 17th, there will be an action packed day of entertainment from 11 am to 4 pm for all ages to enjoy. Other activities include: strolling performers, face painters, balloon creations, visiting mascots, a climbing wall, midway games, interpretive tours and much much more!
