NORTH VANCOUVER, BC – SUMMERFEST 2012 at Lonsdale Quay Market will run from Saturday June 30th, to
Sunday September 2nd.
Join us every weekend, as we celebrate local talent with some of BC’s hottest musicians and dancers. Dance
demos and lessons, concerts featuring local artists, holiday weekend festivities, and children’s activities, make
SummerFest an event you won’t want to miss!
Lonsdale Quay Market’s SummerFest event has always been a supporter of local talent, and proud to
showcase artists from within our community. This year we are very excited to partner with 100.5 The PEAK, to
bring a lineup of musicians to the SummerFest stage that are all BC-bred alumni from The PEAK Performance
Project!

Join the Dance 4U team every Saturday from 2 PM to 4 PM and get in the groove! Each event begins with an
interactive lesson, where you will learn to merengue & bachata on salsa weekends, and the charleston & lindy
hop on swing weekends, all while enjoying a cool ocean breeze at one of Vancouver’s most beautiful summer
dance spaces. Donations will be accepted on behalf of the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation throughout the
summer.
