This 2 hour workshop includes:
– training in CPR, choking and accident prevention for babies and toddlers;
– sweet & savory treats from Edgemont Village’s COBS Bread and refreshments;
– a breastfeeding-friendly environment (infants are welcome to stay with you);
– optional childcare in the nursery right across the hall from the workshop for babies & older children ($10 fee per child).
Safe Beginnings First Aid trains new families & caregivers in the most up-to-date CPR and first aid standards.
It is amazing to watch young children grow, learn, and explore their environment. Learn how to keep your young children safe, prevent common injuries, and react if the unthinkable does occur.
Jill Colpitts (owner of Safe Beginnings First Aid) is a first aid instructor affiliated with the Lifesaving Society BC/Yukon branch, and her background includes aquatics, childcare and doula services.
